San Jacinto’s branding journey celebrates what makes the San Jacinto community unique. These guidelines create a unified identity that distinguishes San Jacinto, enhances recognition, and ensures consistency across all platforms and materials. The seal of the City is the cornerstone of its identity, and is what is used as its official logotype and is the most visible symbol of San Jacinto's brand.
Uses and Permissions: Per City Municipal Code 1.08.040
The use of the City seal comes with its own rules that are written in the municipal code. Therefore it is important that you receive written permission from the City to use the seal. The city seal is used only on city documents, property, and programs that reflect city business, ownership or endorsement.
It is unlawful for any person or entity to make use of the city seal or any portion thereof, facsimile, mock-up, or reproduction thereof, or make or use any design, symbol, emblem, insignia or similar device that is an imitation of the city seal, or that may be mistaken therefor, that is designed, intended or likely to confuse, deceive or mislead the public, for private or commercial purposes or for any purpose other than the official business of the city without the express written consent of the city manager.
Requirements:
You must use the following versions of City logos:
- Full Color
- Solid White/Black combo
Regardless of which logo is used, it must hae a minimum color contrast ratio to the background of at least 4.5:1.
Publication
- Website: The logo must provide a link to www.sanjacintoca.gov. The alternative text for logo must be “City of San Jacinto”.
- Digital, print and promotional: The City of San Jacinto logo must be visible and not made too small where you cannot read the words within the outer rings.
Altering the seal
No Persons are allowed to alter (including remove or add elements, or just use a partion) the seal. +
