
California Fair Political Practices Commission
The FPPC is an independent commission that has primary responsibility for the impartial and effective administration of the Political Reform Act. The Act regulates campaign financing, conflicts of interest, lobbying, and governmental ethics. The Commission requires a variety of disclosure documents be completed and made available for public review, including the following:
•Campaign Filings, Forms 410, 460, 470, and 497
•Form 700, Statement of Economic Interests
•Form 806, Agency Report of Public Official Appointments

Statement of Economic Interests – Form 700
The Political Reform Act (Government Code Sections 81000-94014) requires public officials to disclose financial disclosures by filing Statements of Economic Interests (Form 700s). The list of these local officials, per GC 87200, are listed in the City’s Conflict of Interest Code.

Local Appointments List (Maddy Act)
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54971, the Local Appointments List is posted on or before December 31st of each year and contains a list of all appointive terms, the names of the incumbent appointees, the date of appointment, the date the term expires, and the necessary qualifications of the position.
